Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms of Service cover the painting work we perform for you. They apply when you accept a proposal from Nashville House Painters. For rules covering this website, text messages, and promotions, see our Terms and Conditions.

Who We Are

Nashville House Painters is a family-owned residential painting company at 3561 Country Way Rd, Antioch, TN 37013. Reach us at (615) 420-2585 or rick@ipaintnashville.com.

Estimates and Proposals

Estimates are free and carry no obligation. Every proposal follows an in-person walkthrough and describes the scope of work, the surfaces included, the products we will use, and the price. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless the proposal says otherwise. Work outside the written scope is not included in the quoted price.

Changes to the Work

If you add rooms, surfaces, colors, or repairs after work begins, we price the addition in writing before proceeding. Added scope may affect the schedule.

Color Selection and Approval

Final color and sheen choices are yours. A color can look different on a sample card, on a screen, and on your walls under your lighting, so we recommend approving a physical sample on site. Repainting after an approved color is applied is billed as additional work.

Your Responsibilities

Please provide clear access to work areas on scheduled days, secure pets, and point out fragile or valuable items. We cover and protect floors, furniture, and fixtures, but we ask that irreplaceable items be moved or stored by you before we start.

Weather and Schedule Delays

Exterior work depends on temperature and moisture. Surfaces need to stay above 34 degrees for at least 24 hours after application, so we reschedule exterior days when weather would compromise the finish. We work consecutive days, Monday through Friday, until the job is done, with weather as the one exception.

Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind our work and will correct defects in our workmanship. The guarantee does not cover damage from settling, moisture intrusion, impact, or abuse, normal wear, or failures caused by pre-existing conditions we identified and you asked us to paint over. The specific guarantee terms for your project appear on your proposal.

Cancellation

You may cancel or reschedule by calling or emailing us. If you cancel after project-specific materials have been purchased or custom mixed, those costs may be deducted from your deposit.

Insurance and Licensing

We carry liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. Certificates are available on request before work begins.

Project Photography

We often photograph our work for our portfolio, website, and social media. Photos show the work itself, not identifying details about your family. Tell us if you would prefer we not photograph your project and we will note it on your file.

Payment

Invoices are due on receipt unless your proposal states otherwise. Accepted payment methods appear on your invoice.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim arising out of a project is limited to the amount paid for that project, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Tennessee law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Davidson County, Tennessee.
